KNIVES is a Kickstarter tabletop game inspired by AWED Corp's popular YouTube series set in the On The Hill universe. With AWED Corp’s channel boasting 101K subscribers and over 2.4 million views, it sought to expand into the tabletop gaming market. The goal was to create a fast-paced, party-friendly game for young adults, similar to titles like Unstable Unicorns and Exploding Kittens. As the sole graphic designer and illustrator, I worked closely with the project manager to bring this vision to life.

Process & Experience
Collaborating with the project manager, I aimed to capture the game’s adrenaline-fueled, darkly humorous theme through bold, cartoony illustrations. We experimented with different styles before settling on a modern, minimalistic approach that resonated with a wide audience. I designed the logo and brand assets for various mediums, including cards, packaging, banners, posters, and promotional materials. The focus was on creating a unique illustrative style that balanced fun and intensity, ensuring KNIVES stood out in the market.

The game’s unique visual identity attracted a broad audience, producing a positive reception and strong player engagement. Unfortunately due to marketing complications the game was never sent to print due to the failure of the kickstarter and overall campaign. Despite the products shortcomings this project was an amazing studio experience and put all faucets of my skills to the test.
